The weekly Astrology for a holistic life with the planets

Key concepts for this week:

Freedom over domination- Peace over conflicts

Welcome, dear readers. As we journey through Leo Season, we discover how to shine brightly, embrace our true selves, celebrate our talents, and encourage others to reach their full potential.

Leo's essence is rooted in generosity and a healthy sense of self. Now that we are midway through this season, it's time for some reflection.

Are you celebrating your talents?

Are you taking time to enjoy life and have fun?

Are you allowing your uniqueness to shine without fear of judgment?

My dad was a Leo, born on August 8, 1939, aand I am the quintessential "daddy's girl" cliché.

He motivated me to embrace my true self and imparted a key principle: "As long as you're acting without harming anyone, respecting yourself, and safeguarding those in need, keep going."

I could discuss politics, history, news, work, and boyfriends with my dad. Every day, after work, I'd get in the car and call him to chat about the day. He was an intelligent, sophisticated, and knowledgeable man, and listening to him was inspiring.

Returning to the Leo archetype...

He was proud, as a Leo man would be. He was wealthy, but not in the conventional sense of accumulating material possessions. His abundance came from all around. Making money was easy for him, but so was sharing it with others or facilitating successful business ventures and including others in his vision. These days, whenever I lack money, I think of that warm and secure energy he provided for so many.

Leo energy is central, shining brightly like the Sun, but it thrives on generosity. As it illuminates others, it enhances its potential.

As we approach Leo's gate, I want you to hold this metaphor in your mind.

Astrologers might not discuss Leo's gate, but I do. I embrace it and enjoy welcoming new abundance, happiness, and expanding my ability to support others. It makes me feel like I'm stretching out, and I think of my dad, channeling his energy of generosity, pride, and fun.

Remember, it's important to have fun, specially during Leo season.

Monday: The Moon enters Sagittarius, and we have a lovely beginning of the week, a lot of action, a lot of energy, and a positive fire energy that brings a sense of positivity into today.

If you are a fire sign or you have planets in fire, today could be a beneficial day to take action on a project; however, Mercury is still retrograde, so maybe don't be in a hurry and still take your time for self-reflection.

Considering the retrograde period of the past few weeks, what messages did you receive, and what have you been working on? Where Leo is in your chart is also significant.

This week, we will also enter a new energetic paradigm with Uranus sextiling the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, a push into the new world made of crazy technology and creation of consciousness, as well as quantum computing and the opening of science to the idea of a multiverse. I mean, it's wild, my brain can't totally comprehend, but the energy is taking more and more shape in this direction.

Tuesday: The Moon remains in Sagittarius, suggesting that the day will likely unfold much like Monday. Staying active and burning some energy could be beneficial today. Consider going for a power walk or engaging in an activity that warms you up.

My perspective is that, as we approach Leo's gate, we should learn to harness Leo's energy. We ignite the fire and channel the Sun, the core source of life. The waxing Moon is a fantastic gift to aid us in reaching our goals during this week, as it is already fostering growth.

Get the momentum going and ponder reflection on this Tuesday

Wednesday:

We have the Moon in Capricorn becoming bigger and brighter. This week has the feeling that everything and nothing is happening.

The energy is high, and we may have a lot going on.

Wednesday is a pivotal day as we approach a more difficult energy towards the end of the week. On one side, there is the positivity of Leo's energy and Leo's gate coming to help us access our gifts and dreams. On the other side, we are moving towards a full moon that will bring a big release.

Maintaining your vision and maintaining a clear goal, I think, can help with this week's inner work, especially while the Moon is in Capricorn. It is super useful today to remind us of our goals, what we need to do to get there, and surrender at the same time.

In a way, during Leo season, we are celebrating our talents, but in another way, we are also letting go of the ego.

Leading up to the full Moon, the energy is always more intense and our days busier.

Thursday: The Moon is still in Capricorn, entering the last waxing quarter. The sky is brighter and brighter, and at this point of the lunar cycle, we are ready to accomplish our monthly cycle.

As the moon cycles, we have to be aware that today is a good day to work and build projects, but no matter how things go, with the full moon we have to be ready to release and let go.

Today, work may feel very busy, but we also have Mars entering Libra, which on the other hand is bringing an energy of balance. It is not about winning but more about creating with harmony.

Mars in Libra brings a shift as this planet in this archetype is not as strong; the energy doesn't go towards explosive drive but in finding ways to compromise instead, which is

Not very martial.

Mars in Libra is a time for finding a healthy way to accept the fact that we can't please everyone, and especially if you have Libra or strong air in your chart, this planet will bring a little boost but also some tension and indecision.

When we enter a perspective of justice and professional diplomacy, we could learn to navigate this transit well. So my advice from today until the 22nd of September is to practice the strength of balance, pondering, less muscle, more brain, and more confidence in your skills. You can't please everyone, but you can learn how to make yourself happy every day by choosing you.

Friday: The moon will be at the tail end of Capricorn in the morning and entering Aquarius around midday.

Friday is going to be busy and maybe a little uncomfortable; the energy in general is building up to this full moon is not easy. This wasn't an easy Leo season.

We had a Mercury retrograde, a difficult new moon, and a few major planetary changes. However, today we have the Lion's Gate open, and as we move through the day, I want you to visualize open spaces, the vastness of the ocean, big valleys, any big open space where you feel happy and open. Picture the warmth of the sunlight touching your skin and your hair shining bright.

The sun coming through this picture in your imagination is healing and is supporting anything that you desire. It is a wedding between you and the sun, a big party, and a bold experience of your inner light.

Interesting facts about this day: astronomically, the sun is not aligned with the star Sirius and is not what we truly associate with today.

The Lion's Gate is an ancient celebration from Egyptian times occurring in late July and early August. During this period, Sirius (a fixed star sacred to the Egyptians) would reappear in the sky, coinciding with the Nile's flooding.

In New Age beliefs, this has been linked to the date 8/8. Although I lack numerology knowledge, I respect the ancient tradition and appreciate the idea of connecting with ancient Egyptian cultural practices.

As the Nile flooded, the land became fertile. By embracing the bright light of the sun and the sacred water symbolized by this event, we bless our projects and creations.

Sirius is currently positioned around 14 degrees of Cancer.

The weekend:

On Saturday, we have a full Moon at 16 degrees of Aquarius at 17:54, AEST time.

I live on the mid-north coast of Australia; remember to adjust the time to your location.

This Full Moon is ruled by Uranus in Modern Astrology and by Saturn in Ancient Astrology. Let's have a look at both: Uranus is currently sextile Saturn, so they are interconnected by a positive exchange, and this brings electricity into this Lunation, excitement, and radical energy.

There is a charge; there is an unpredictable layer that is revealing to us.

A surprise, something we didn't consider, may suddenly become an option.

Saturn, the traditional ruler of this Lunation, is in Aries and having the first opposition with Mars in Libra.

What is it that you need to learn to deliver using tact? There is an awakening call to diplomacy and not to be defensive. The intensity of the full Moon in Aquarius could be about speaking up about our vision and being direct about our needs.

The shadows to face could be about stubbornness, ego, and opening up to warm connections.

Honoring our needs and expressing them with no ego or neediness but with a kind heart and no expectation is a great tool for this full Moon.

Letting go or detachment, perhaps welcoming sensitivity and empathy, this is a good time to connect with wisdom. I feel you, but I am not you. I help you and I support you, but I am not giving away my vitality to situations that drain me.

I manage my fire and my impulsiveness, and I mean you don't have to "manage" anything. I am all about "be free and wild," but right now we may end up overthinking our actions, so it is important to learn to maintain balance so we can keep a healthy nervous system, especially during the full Moon peak.

As an astrologer, I say burn all limitations with this full Moon, welcome radical changes, welcome your wildest dreams, but also welcome an evolution that doesn't destroy you as it happens but smooths the sharp angles with ease.

We are opening to a moment of great celebration; this is a moment to be proud, successful, and humble.

When we are humble and humility is part of the greater picture, we are in line with universal wisdom and with our brothers and sisters.

Happy Full moon in Aquarius.

Embrace your true self and learn to accept everything you consider unusual, as being unusual is genuine. You are authentic in this exceptional moment of vibrational energy. Let out a scream and howl at the sky; your most untamed self is now your greatest self.

I love you, I honour you, I marry you, I free you, I let you be happy

Love Vanessa
